Trump furious at Halftime Show
Last year, Donald Trump became the first sitting American president to attend the Super Bowl in person – this year, he chose to watch the game on TV. It is possible that Trump left the match because of the artist who performed during the break. Bad Bunny has repeatedly criticized the Trump administration and the treatment of Puerto Ricans as second-class citizens. Shortly after the end of the performance, Trump posted an entry on his social media platform in which he sharply criticized the musician and the NFL. Trump called the performance “a slap in the face to the country,” emphasized that “nobody understands what this guy is talking about,” and called the dance “disgusting.”
A record result in Portugal
Socialist Antonio Jose Seguro won Sunday's presidential elections in Portugal. In the second round of elections, he was supported by a record 3.45 million voting citizens. The turnout was 50.1 percent. His rival, the leader of the populist-right Chega party, Andre Ventura, received 33.18 percent. votes. During his first speech to the Portuguese on Sunday before midnight, the president-elect assured that he would “serve the nation with the same commitment as his predecessors, but in his own style.”

Today is the third day of competition for medals in the Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo Olympic Games. Poles will compete in three competitions. Three Polish ski jumpers will perform at the regular facility in Predazzo: Kacper Tomasiak, Kamil Stoch and Paweł Wąsek, but they are not among the favorites. Karolina Bosiek and Natalia Czerwonka will run in the 1000 m ice skating race, and Klaudia Domaradzka will start the sledging competition. In total, medals will be awarded in five competitions.
At the General Staff of the Polish Army in Warsaw, the Deputy Prime Minister, the head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, the deputy head of the Ministry of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk, the head of the Border Guard of the Polish Army, General Wiesław Kukuła, and the commander of the Cyberspace Defense Forces, Maj. Gen. Karol Molenda will take part in a press conference devoted to the “wReadiness” defense training program. The conference will present conclusions from the pilot program implemented in 2025, the training plan for this year, as well as new solutions in the field of reserve training.
