More than 10 thousand decorative aquarium fish were delivered to Krasnoyarsk from Thailand by plane. The regional Office of Rosselkhoznadzor spoke about this.
Specialists carried out veterinary inspection of the first batch of aquarium fish this year at the Krasnoyarsk airport. 10,759 fish were brought to the regional capital from Bangkok. The cargo was intended for an entrepreneur who is engaged in keeping and breeding fish.
“In total, 17 species of fish were imported, including the Himalayan glass perch, Siamese algae eater, girinocheilus, common catfish and guppies,” explained the regional Department.
Decorative fish were delivered to Krasnoyarsk in compliance with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union.
Let us recall that last year three batches of aquarium fish totaling 41.3 thousand pieces passed through the hands of Rosselkhoznadzor specialists.
