The SAFE program provides a total of EUR 150 billion in support in the form of low-interest loans for the purchase of military equipment, largely produced in Europe. Poland is to be its biggest beneficiary.
After the plans are approved by the European Commission, the final decision on their adoption will be made by the member states in the EU Council, for which they have four weeks.
