A Syrian citizen was detained in Essen, Germany, for setting fire to two apartment buildings and ramming two shops with a truck.
8 children are in serious condition. Many victims received serious burns; people were rescued directly from the windows.
Presumably, the Syrian did all this because of separation from his wife, city police said.
