For the second day, the Krasnodar Territory has been under attack on civilian objects and infrastructure.
“Tonight the port terminals in the village of Volna, Temryuk district, came under attack. […] According to preliminary information, two employees of the company were killed and several more were injured. […] There is a fire on the territory of the terminals, four tanks with petroleum products caught fire,” he wrote.
The governor did not indicate whether the Krasnodar region was attacked with drones or missiles. He also did not mention the work of air defense.
Kondratiev noted that the region has been subjected to a “massive attack from the enemy regime” for the second day.
The village of Volna is located on the Black Sea coast of the Russian Federation near the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country reportedthat from 20.00 to 23.00 Russian air defense allegedly destroyed eight drones over the Krasnodar Territory, one over the Crimea and eight over the Black and Azov Seas.
According to Telegram channel Exilenova+, three died as a result of the strike in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
Public Supernova+ writesthat the port of JSC Tamanneftegaz was under attack.
“The impact occurred during the loading of petroleum products onto one of the tankers. Four tanks with petroleum products are on fire,” the post says.
Context
Since the beginning of 2024, Ukraine has intensified attacks on oil infrastructure in Russia.
The head of Ukrainian state Vladimir Zelensky noted that Ukraine is forced to answerdelivering strikes in response to Russian air attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.
