The Romanian leader in logistics and transport, Aquila, is investing 44 million euros to build a 47,000 sqm warehouse in Dragomirești, lfov, a few kilometers from Bucharest. in partnership with Belgian developer Warehouses De Pauw (WDP).

The project is carried out in partnership with the developer Warehouses De Pauw (WDP), whose main shareholder belongs to one of the richest families in Belgium. Construction is due to be completed in the first part of 2027, according to Profit.
According to financial reports, Aquila Part Prod Com (AQ) recorded in the first nine months of last year consolidated revenues of 2.46 billion lei, up 17.14% compared to the same period in 2024. The distribution and logistics segments recorded increases of 18% and 21%, respectively, while transport activity decreased slightly, with 4%.
“We remain on a solid growth trajectory and have all the necessary tools to achieve the proposed objectives in the medium term, paying constant attention to fiscal and macroeconomic developments, which may temporarily influence the level of profitability”, said CEO Cătălin Vasile in the quarterly report.
The cited source claims that, in the same period, the company's costs of goods sold rose by 17.09%, to 1.85 billion lei, and fuel and salary expenses increased by 17.93% and 26.08%, respectively, reaching 69.46 million lei and 287.13 million lei.
Aquila's net profit decreased by 38.40% to 34.69 million lei, compared to 56.32 million lei in the first three quarters of 2024.
