

According to the association, we are talking about two bills No. 14089 and No. 14090, aimed at continuing the preferential regime for the import of energy equipment and including components and assemblies for wind farms in the list of goods.
EVA stressed that the adoption of these changes is of paramount importance for the restoration of the energy system and the development of generation from renewable sources.
According to the association’s members, the continuation of the benefits and the expansion of their list are critical for the prompt restoration of the country’s electricity generation and energy infrastructure.
“The Association sent an official letter to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Daniil Getmantsev, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Energy and Housing and Utilities Services Andriy Gerus and the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svetlana Grinchuk with a request for assistance in the speedy adoption of bills No. 14089 and No. 14090 as a basis and in general,” – the appeal says.
Context
On November 5, the bills were considered at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services. The Energy Committee recommended including bills No. 14089 and No. 14090 on the agenda and submitting them to the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy for adoption as a basis.
