At the beginning of 2025, the elevated pedestrian crossing and adjacent buildings became the property of the Capital Construction Administration. The previous owner signed an agreement with the city administration. The reason for the seizure of the object is the dismantling of the structure and reconstruction of a section of Dubrovinsky Street. Citizens often complained about the viaduct because of the collapsing steps.

Work on the site will begin after Karl Marx Street is opened to traffic in Krasnoyarsk. The corresponding decision was made to avoid a traffic collapse in the city center.

“We ask Krasnoyarsk residents not to try to bypass or tear down the fencing tapes. The facility is closed to all visitors and is guarded. You can walk along Dubrovinsky Street from the embankment,” the department reported.

Let us remind you that Karl Marx Street in Krasnoyarsk was blocked in 2024 due to the construction of the metro. Transport from it was redirected to Mira Avenue, which became one-way with traffic towards Strelka. At that time, it was assumed that the work would take at least two years and the restrictions would last until the end of 2026.
