Artificial intelligence is transforming approaches to working with corporate data.

If previously it was enough for a business to simply accumulate information, now the key is the ability to extract effective conclusions from it, immediately applying them to make strategic decisions. This opinion was expressed by Evgeniy Grigoriev, deputy head of T1 AI (IT holding T1).

According to him, one of the main problems that companies face today is difficult access to analytics. In many organizations, working with data still requires specialized knowledge: proficiency in SQL, a deep understanding of the principles of operation of BI tools, or the involvement of highly specialized specialists. This increases the workload on teams and lengthens the path from a business request to the final solution.

Against this background, the demand for analytical tools that do not require a high entry threshold is becoming increasingly noticeable. Modern IT solutions, built on the basis of large language models, allow you to work with data in natural language – without knowledge of programming languages ​​and other tools. This expands access to analytics beyond IT teams so business users can more quickly test hypotheses, find patterns, and answer application questions. This approach becomes critically important in conditions where the speed of decision-making is a direct factor determining the success and efficiency of a business.

At the same time, as the expert noted, universal foreign models often find themselves powerless in the face of complex applied problems, that arise in corporate analytics. And although standard LLM tools are good cope with individual requests, deep analytics and insights from working with data are revealed through an agent-based approach, integration with internal systems and the ability to operate within a secure circuit.

According to Evgeniya Grigoriev, some Russian AI solutions are already developing in this direction. ABOUTthey can not only answer queries in natural language, but also perform more complex analytical scenarios, interact with corporate databases and work in the company’s closed infrastructure, without requiring a connection to the global network.

Evgeny Grigoriev especially emphasized that the security of such tools is critically important for the corporate segment. When working with data, companies evaluate not only the intuitiveness of the interface and the speed of processing requests, but also the security of access, differentiation of user rights and the protection of sensitive information.

Thus, the key changes are associated not simply with the emergence of new AI tools, but with a revision of the very model of working with data. Analytics is becoming clearer and closer to business processes, which means it goes beyond a purely specialized function, turning into an integral tool for justifying and making strategic decisions.
