The January list of monthly deposits shows a significant range in offers – you can count on 7%. per year, but the table also includes proposals for 1%. on an annual basis. One bank increased the interest rate on its deposit, but it is in the minority. Most institutions introduced – as in the last months of last year – significant cuts.
At the beginning of the month, we present the best monthly deposits on the market at the moment. In the table we have collected deposits with the highest rates. In addition to the key information, i.e. the interest rate, you can also find other details, such as the amount that can be transferred to the bank or applicable additional conditions. If an institution offers several deposits with similar parameters, we have included the deposit with the highest interest rate in a given list.

The first place in the ranking is taken by the place NEW 1M deposit HIGH INTEREST From Bank Nowy thanks to the interest rate of 7.00 percent on an annual basis. The offer is addressed to new customers who open a full deposit account. The maximum deposit amount is PLN 10,000. This is the lowest limit among all the offers in the table.
The second position was taken by a proposal with a much lower interest rate – 4.50 percent on an annual basis. I'm talking about Birthday Deposit From Bank Millennium. The deposit has an interesting additional condition, because it is available only within 30 days of the customer's birthday. Those interested in this offer will have to create a personal account. The deposit itself is available in the bank's mobile application. You can deposit up to PLN 25,000 into the deposit.
TOP3 completes Deposit for New Resources From BOŚ Bank. This is another offer for account holders in a given institution. To use the deposit, you must deposit new funds, which is revealed by the name of the deposit. The lack of a maximum amount may encourage people who have accumulated more capital. The interest rate for the monthly option is currently 3.80 percent annually.
We have to wait until there are no inheritances
The first ranking of monthly deposits this year continues the traditions started in 2025. This ranking also includes cuts on deposits. The following banks introduced lower rates than in December:
- BPS Bank – change in the interest rate on iLokat from 3.50 to 3.00 percent. annually.
- Bank Millennium
– cut on Lokata Urodzinowa from 5.00 to 4.50 percent. per year, - BOŚ Bank – reduction in the New Resources Deposit from 4.10 to 3.80 percent. annually,
- Toyota Bank – change of the rate from 3.90 to 3.65 percent. annually on Lokata Plus.
However, one of the institutions took a slightly different direction and slightly increased the interest rate for its shortest deposit. I'm talking about BFF Banking Groupwhich currently gives 3.75% on the monthly Lokata Facto. per year, i.e. 0.25 pp. more than a month ago.
The average rate for the five highest-interest-bearing deposits is 4.54 percent. per year, i.e. less by 0.16 percentage points. from the previous month's result.
