The temperatures will be slightly above the specific ones, in the second half of January, in several regions, meteorologists announced on Tuesday, who specify, however, that this period will be preceded by a week with lower temperatures in the western, north-western, north-eastern and locally in the central regions and with large amounts of precipitation throughout the country, according to News.ro.

Week 01/05/2026 – 01/12/2026

  • The thermal values ​​will be lower than the specific ones for this week in the western, north-western, north-eastern and locally in the central regions, but even higher in the south-eastern regions, and in the rest they will be close to normal.
  • The rainfall regime will be excessive throughout the country, but especially in the western regions.

Week 12.01.2026 – 19.01.2026

  • The average temperatures will be slightly higher than the specific ones for this interval in the mountainous areas and in the extreme south-east of the country, but also slightly lower, locally, in the north-east and center, and otherwise they will be close to normal.
  • The amounts of precipitation will be slightly excessive in the northwest of the territory, and in the rest they will be close to the normal ones for this period.

Week 19.01.2026 – 26.01.2026

  • The average air temperature will have higher than normal values ​​for this interval in most of the country, but especially in the southeastern extremity of the territory.
  • The rainfall regime will be close to normal for this period in all regions.

Week of 26.01.2026 – 02.02.2026

  • Average thermal values ​​will be slightly above the specific ones for this week in the extra-Carpathian regions, and otherwise they will be close to normal.
  • Precipitation amounts will be close to normal for this interval in most of the country.
