Under the changes introduced in 2025, people with a Large Family Card will be able to collect benefits for 365 days. This is a significant extension compared to the standard period, which is currently 180 days.
Currently, unemployment benefits are paid in two amounts. For the first 90 days it is PLN 1,662.00 gross, while in the following months it drops to PLN 1,305.20 gross.
An application for issuing a KDR can be submitted online via the Emp@tia portal operated by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy or in person at the commune office. The card issuance is free of charge, and the waiting time should not exceed 30 days from the moment of submitting the documents.
