Reghecampf made a name for himself among Africans. He wants to “wind up” the Sudanese for a $1 million contract

After the current experience in Sudan, where he spent a season with ups and downs on the bench of Al-Hilal Omdurman, Laurentiu Reghecampf could take the next step in his career, even this summer. The Romanian technician has the chance to reach a more competitive championship in North Africa.

His previous time in Tunisia opened important doors for him on the continent, and the positive results achieved there greatly increased his reputation. This was also seen last summer, when he had no shortage of offers and quickly arrived at Al-Hilal Omdurman, where the overall balance was positive for the Romanian coach, even if there were moments of crisis.
Offer of 1.1 million dollars from Algeria
Now, Reghecampf is considering a new change after the expiration of the contract with the Sudanese, valid until August of this year. The reason is the concrete interest coming from Algeria, where Chabab Riadhi Belouizdad club officials see him as the main option for the coaching position.
According to information from the Arab press, talks between the two sides are already underway and moving in a favorable direction. If an agreement is reached, Reghecampf would take over the team this summer, with the start of the new season.
“The Romanian Reghecampf has a contract of 1.1 million dollars per table. For now, the negotiations are about the staff with which Reghecampf would come to Algeria. He requested that all the people who are with him now at Al-Hilal Omdurman be taken to Belouizdad as well. It is a request with which the Algerians did not agree, completely. They want part of the new coach's staff to be made up of locals!”the Arab press noted.
He kept postponing the contract extension with Al Hilal Omdurman
“Despite the positive signals he sent for the extension of his contract, Reghecampf kept postponing the signing of the documents. Now, it is becoming clear that he wanted to have the option to leave Al-Hilal Omdurman, should a better offer come along. Al-Hilal's bosses have given Reghecampf everything they want, with the latest evidence being the sacking of his Sudanese second-in-command, Khaled Bakhit. Even so, now they risk losing Reghecampf, given that the Romanian technician is tempted to go to Algeria!”the press from Sudan also revealed.
