Poland will be a tourist hit in 2025. The numbers speak for themselves


In October 2025, the number of tourists in Poland was 3.67 millioncompared to 3.45 million in the same month a year earlier. This means a clear increase in interest in Poland as a destination for recreation and short-term tourism.

In the period from January to October 2025, Poland was visited in total 36.367 million touriststowards 33.098 million in the same period of 2024
The number of foreign tourists is growing
In October 2025, it visited the country 802.9 thousand foreign touristswhile a year earlier there were them 732.2 thousand. Over the course of ten months, the number of foreign guests increased to 7.438 millioncompared to 6.639 million in the period January-October 2024

More nights and longer stays
According to the Central Statistical Office, in the first ten months of 2025, a total of 90.747 million overnight staystowards 84.826 million a year earlier. In turn, in the case of foreign tourists, the number of overnight stays amounted to 17.08 million, while in the corresponding period of 2024 it was 15.6 million. These data show not only a larger number of visitors, but also an increase in demand for accommodation and longer stays in Poland.
The most important conclusion from the Central Statistical Office data is the stable and clear increase in both domestic and foreign tourism. The number of visitors to Poland and the number of overnight stays is systematically growing, which confirms the increasing attractiveness of our country as a place for rest and travel.
Poland is a tourist powerhouse. An upward trend is visible
This is confirmed by PMR by Hume's latest report “Tourism market in Poland 2025”, which we wrote about in Business Insider Polska. According to him, the market value will almost double, growing from PLN 97 billion in 2024 to PLN 171 billion in 2030. Forecasts indicate that by 2030 the total number of tourists visiting Poland will increase from the current 99 million to as many as 140 million people, and this increase will go hand in hand with a clear qualitative leap.
