88 percent respondents who have good relations with colleagues are happier at work – according to the study of Pracuj .PL. Every third respondent met a friend at work for his whole life, and almost half of them indicated a good atmosphere as a reason for staying in their current job.

“Building an atmosphere of mutual understanding and support translates into greater commitment and a sense of professional fulfillment. Cooperation based on trust and empathy is the foundation of a modern workplace, where everyone can develop their potential,” said HR Business Partner in Work in Pracuj .pl Alina Michałek.

The latest website research shows that 67 percent respondents like their colleagues, and this relationship translates directly into a sense of happiness at work: 88 percent people who get along well with the team declare a higher level of professional satisfaction. 55 percent employees satisfied with interpersonal relations assess their professional life as successful, while among the percentage dissatisfied with the atmosphere in the team, this percentage drops to just 10 percent.

As the study shows, 6 Out of 10 employees, he has a close friend met at work, and every third respondent found a friend there for life. For half of the respondents, a joint way out with colleagues “Na Town” is a natural element of everyday life, and 25 percent. “Close friends or friends met in the office can be a source of support, joy and a sense of belonging. Such ties strengthen the integration of the team, facilitate cooperation and make us feel part of something bigger than just the company,” commented Michałek.

According to the authors of the report, good relations in the team can be one of the most effective factors affecting the feeling of stability of employment. The data show that among people satisfied with contacts at work, the change of employment is considered only by 29 percent, while among the dissatisfied percentage reaches as much as 59 percent. For 37 percent employees' departure of colleagues from the team could be an impulse for their own changes, and 74 percent. He declares that in a new place he would like to find a team similar to the current one.

For 48 percent respondents are the atmosphere that is the reason they stay in the current company.

“Thanks to strong ties with the team, work ceases to be only a duty, and becomes a source of a sense of community and security. Trust and positive atmosphere in the team increase our loyalty, and even may be the reason why we stay in the current place, despite other tempting proposals,” says internal communication expert in the work group Agata Grzejda.

The report emphasized that a good atmosphere and strong ties in the team are for 55 percent. respondents the most important element of work, and for 2 out of 3 respondents a joint celebration of success makes them even more pleasant.

Experts also noted that 43 percent respondents admit that the opportunity to meet future colleagues has a great impact on the decision to accept a new job. “Where qualified specialists are at a premium, and the fight for the best employees is becoming more and more fierce, companies should remember that it is often a good atmosphere, trust and a sense of belonging to the team, and not just attractive salary, they determine whether the employee stays in the workplace for longer,” experts said.
