Paris Saint-Germain had a truly spectacular year 2025, managing to win no less than six trophies, and the team's fans organized one last party to celebrate the achievements of their favourites, but things degenerated and 40 of the Parisian ultras were arrested.

The year 2025 brought six trophies to the Parc des Princes team: the Championship, the Cup and the Supercup in France, the Intercontinental Cup, the European Supercup and, certainly the most important title, the UEFA Champions League, a competition awarded for the first time by the Parisian club at the end of the previous season.
As a result, the team's supporters decided to celebrate together the best year in the history of the club they support by throwing a lavish party in the Trocadero – Eiffel Tower area on Saturday night.
Smoke, fireworks and 40 ultras arrested in Paris!
However, the situation degenerated, and the end was not a happy one for 40 of the supporters who took part in this event.
According to the information provided by the daily newspaper L'Equipe, this small group of ultras started lighting smoke and fireworks in the area where the party was held, and finally, the police detained them.
The way the police found out about the use of these pyrotechnic materials, which took over the city center, was thanks to a video published by CCTV. They later took action and stopped the entire event. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

All in all, 2025 was a dream year for Parisians, but in the current season, it seems that things are not so rosy anymore.
For example, in the championship, PSG is only in second place, one point behind surprise leader Lens. Also in contention for the title is Olympique Marseille, who in their second season with Roberto De Zerbi at the helm look very good offensively.
Indeed, the French and European champions dropped some important points in the championship in the autumn, during a period when many of the team's key players were unavailable.
Among the most important names who were absent were Desire Doue, Nuno Mendes, Achraf Hakimi (still unavailable, being in Morocco's CAN squad), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and, last but not least, Ballon d'Or Ousmane Dembele.
