The president of Dinamo, Andrei Nicolescu, stated that he considers the Romanian champion, FCSB, the strongest opponent in the play-off, according to OrangeSport. At the moment, FCSB is not on the play-off spot, being 9th in the ranking today.
“For us, for Dinamo, it will probably be the strongest opponent in the play-off. This is how I see it. Due to the fact that they are coming after two titles won, they have this mentality.
As an example, we managed to finish this year in first place, but the experience of the players we now have in the team is only now being configured, growing. They probably didn't know how to manage it in such a way that there would be no surprises. And we had surprises.
While here, I don't think that if FCSB ends up in a situation to win a match to come in first place, they don't know how to take all the measures to understand this.
We are still building. I think that the maturity of the players there makes FCSB the strongest opponent in the play-off”, said Nicolescu, according to Prima Sport.
Dinamo is currently in 4th place, two points behind the leader Universitatea Craiova.
