In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court ordered the killer from Igarka to pay monetary compensation to the children of his victim. The regional prosecutor's office reported this.
In November 2022, a resident of Igarka quarreled with an acquaintance while in his apartment. During the conflict, the latter grabbed a knife and stabbed his victim with it several times. The 42-year-old man died from his injuries. The deceased left three children. At the time of the tragedy they were between 4 and 9 years old.
“The death of a loved one irreversibly affected the children, bringing them deep stress and a sense of loss,” the press service of the supervisory agency reported.
The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit to recover 3 million rubles in compensation for moral damage from the convicted person. The demands were satisfied. Execution is under control.
