According to ESPN Brazil, Dani Alves plans to return to the field as an active player. According to this information, cited by sportal.blic.rs, he is in negotiations with a group of investors to purchase the Portuguese third league club Sao Joao de Ver.
The plan is that, should the purchase go through, Alves will also be registered as a club player, at least for the first six months. The Brazilians mention that everything could already happen in the January transfer window, when Alves would play the second part of the season for the club he co-owns, and then officially retire from professional football.
