A Krasnoyarsk resident was detained for growing cannabis in a garage

In one of the garages in Divnogorsk, police detained a 50-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk, suspected of drug trafficking.

It was established that the man purchased hemp seeds, fertilizers and soil to create his own drug bed. The mini-plantation was located in a garage box he owned. There, law enforcement officers discovered and seized 20 bushes of a drug-containing plant, packaging material and 382 grams of cannabis, some of which was prepared for sale.

Criminal cases were opened against a previously unconvicted Krasnoyarsk resident under Part 3 of Art. 30 clause g part 4 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale) and under Part 1 of Art. 231 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs on a large scale). During the investigation, the defendant was given a preventive measure in the form of house arrest.
