On Saturday evening, after the first day of talks as part of the new round of negotiations with the American side, Kirill Dmitriev said in a conversation with Russian journalists that the talks were “constructive.”
When asked about the progress of negotiations so far at the summit in St. Petersburg, Vladimir Putin's adviser, Yuri Ushakov, said that Moscow was waiting for the return of its envoy. — I hope he will come back on Monday and report the talks to the president first. Then we will develop a position on the basis of which we will be able to act further, including in contact with the Americans, he emphasized.

Another meeting of the US and Ukrainian envoys will be held on Sunday, Rustem Umerov, secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, announced on social media.
Russian-American talks began on Saturday in Florida. The Kremlin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev is taking part in them, and the American side is represented by US President Donald Trump's envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Earlier, the United States proposed a trilateral meeting of security advisers to Ukraine, the United States and Russia, Volodymyr Zelensky said.
On Friday, the American delegation held talks in Florida with the Ukrainian side, represented by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and Chief of the Ukrainian General Staff Andriy Hnatov. Security advisers from Germany, France and Great Britain also participated in the discussion, Axios reported.
The talks take place shortly after the Berlin summit, where European leaders announced that the US and Europe had committed to working together to provide Ukraine with security guarantees in the event of an end to the war.
