18.9 percent respondents believe that the Prime Minister did better than they expected, and 6.3 percent – that it's definitely better. However, 44.1 percent respondents believe that his power was below expectations. However, as many as 30.9 percent definitely worse, and 13.2 percent rather worse. 29.5 percent believes that he ruled in line with their expectations – the newspaper quotes the survey results.

“The government has an uphill climb. No team in power has had three election campaigns during the first half of its rule, nor has it been composed of so many different party entities, one of which has already broken away. The general international situation is not favorable either. This does not mean that it could not be governed better. Even according to the government's supporters, Tusk's coalition could have made more of an effort,” sociologist and polling expert, prof., comments on a study for “Rz”. Jarosław Flis from the Jagiellonian University.

The newspaper believes that “it is interesting that as many as every fifth KO voter has a bad opinion of Prime Minister Tusk after two years of government. Every fourth Third Way voter and as many as 39 percent of those who voted for the Left have a similarly negative opinion of him. It is also interesting that 12 percent of those who voted for PiS rate the Prime Minister rather better than they expected. However, no one in the Confederation electorate thinks so.”

“If you look at PiS's results in 2017, no one would have expected them to succeed in 2019. It was a poll low, just like any other, and yet they won later. A poll low in the middle of the term is not surprising. The extension of this government is still possible. The balance of power is not disturbed. The key is how many parties will be below the threshold and how many above it in 2027.” – summarizes prof. quoted by “Rz”. Floss.

The IBRiS study was conducted on December 5-11, 2025 on a 1,072-person nationwide sample. (PAP)
