– I intend to go out (to the streets) with the police and the army tonight. We will work. The National Guard does a fantastic job, “Trump said in an interview with Todd Starnes.

On Wednesday, the vice president of JD Vance, head of Pentagon PET HegeSeth and deputy head of the White House staff Stephen Miller met with soldiers of the National Guard at the Union Station in Washington and put them lunch. The protesters booed the representatives of the authorities and shouted “Free DC!” (Colombia district). Vance and Miller said that the protesters are “madmen” and “communists” – ABC News said. The vice president emphasized that the station is full of homeless people, and people visiting Washington do not feel safe.

He made the decision to direct the guard to the streets of the city of Trump last week, arguing this with the fight against crime. That day he also took control of the Washington police. Trump accused the city managed by Democrats that he presents false crime data to create a false security illusion.

On Thursday, the mayor of Washington Muriel Bowser assured that the number of crimes using violence began to fall before the actions taken by the Trump administration. She stated that the level of crime in the capital has been falling for two years.

Bowser added that the order issued by the US PAM Bondi General Prosecutor regarding the cooperation of the Police of the Colombia District with Federal Officers “focuses almost exclusively on the enforcement of immigration regulations and the enforcement of provisions on homeless camps”, and not on combating crime. “You can draw conclusions yourself,” she added.
