On Wednesday, the Senate adopted an amendment to the Act on tax on goods and services. The Act increases the limit of revenues, below which the entrepreneur does not have to register as a VAT taxpayer, up to 240,000. PLN from the current 200,000 zloty.


There were 88 senators for accepting the amendment, no one was against, nobody stopped.
On Wednesday, the Senate Budget and Public Finance Committee discussed the amendment to the Act on tax on goods and services. The purpose of the amendment is to increase the revenue limit from next year, which imposes on entrepreneurs the obligation to register as a VAT taxpayer, from 200,000. PLN annually – up to 240 thousand zloty. The Act also assumes that if the taxpayer in 2025 exceeds 200,000 PLN revenues, but they will be lower than 240 thousand. PLN, it will also not have to register for VAT.
The act will now go to the president to signature. (PAP)
