Two brothers aged 8 and 10 from a commune in Brăila county were injured after playing with a firecracker. The police have opened a criminal case for culpable bodily harm.
The one who called 112 and asked for help was the father of the children. He told the authorities that his two children were injured after a firecracker exploded.
The two children were urgently transported to the hospital in Brăila.
The police established that they played with a firecracker in the street, in front of the gate.
“On December 13 this year, at around 1:15 p.m., the policemen of the Ianca Rural Police Section 4 were alerted by calling 112 by a 32-year-old man from Mircea-Vodă commune, regarding the fact that two of his minor children were injured following the explosion of a firecracker. The policemen went to the scene and found that two minors aged 8 and 11 years ago, from the Mircea-Vodă commune, a firecracker was lit on the street, and as a result of its explosion, he suffered injuries to his hands”, reported IPJ Brăila on Sunday, according to News.ro.
The quoted source stated that the two children were transported to the hospital for medical care.
The police are continuing the investigations under the aspect of committing the crime of culpable bodily harm.
