“The purpose of the draft act on amending certain acts in order to eliminate the obligation to attach documents available in electronically maintained public registers is to eliminate the obligation to attach computer printouts from the KRS register and certificates of entry in the CEIDG to letters and applications addressed to public administration bodies and other entities” – we read in the justification to the draft act on amending certain acts in order to eliminate the obligation to attach documents available in electronically maintained public registers.

It added that as a result of the review of legal acts carried out by the Ministry of Development and Technology, “scattered specific regulations were identified that still maintain this obligation.” As a result, the proposed regulations amend ten acts – the Road Traffic Law, the Inland Navigation Act, the Law on the Organization of Common Courts, the Act on Investment Funds and the Management of Alternative Investment Funds, the Act on the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, the Act on Compensation Proceedings in Entities of Particular Importance to the Polish Shipbuilding Industry, the Act on Supporting Entrepreneurs Affected by the Effects of the Flood of 2010, the Act on Special Solutions Related to Removing the Effects of Floods, the Act on Protection animals used for scientific or educational purposes and the Medical Devices Act.

Each of these acts proposes the abolition of the obligation to attach to various types of applications submitted to offices extracts or declarations regarding the entry of entrepreneurs in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity or in the register of entrepreneurs kept in the National Court Register.

The new regulations are to enter into force after 14 days from the date of publication of the proposed act in the Journal of Laws. (PAP)
