Wadeful said it was important to increase pressure on the aggressor country, Russia.
According to him, Germany supports the EU proposal to use frozen Russian assets to finance Ukraine.
Berlin is “optimistic” about resolving this issue, the German Foreign Minister emphasized.

The Ukrainian and US delegations have already held seven rounds of negotiations on a “peace plan” for resolving the Russian-Ukrainian war. In parallel, the American side is holding discussions on the same issue with the aggressor country of the Russian Federation.
On December 9, the head of the Ukrainian state, Vladimir Zelensky, said that Ukraine was discussing three documents on peace with the United States and the EU.
According to media reports, on December 10, Ukraine provided the United States with a response to the latest draft of the “peace plan.”
