In Krasnoyarsk, a kitten died after being washed in a washing machine. The owners kept him in the drum all night and then refused to treat him.

According to Komsomolskaya Pravda – Krasnoyarsk, On December 3, a ginger kitten was brought to the veterinary clinic in critical condition. The owners said that they did not notice the pet in the washing machine, where it went through a full cycle – about an hour, along with hot water and powder. They only got it in the morning.

Veterinarians warned the owners that the animal needed urgent hospitalization, otherwise it could die. However, the owners refused both treatment and euthanasia, saying that they had no money, and left the clinic.

The kitten was taken into the care of volunteers and other veterinarians. They organized a fundraiser and tried to get him out, but on December 4 he died. According to rescue participants, the injuries, shock and poisoning from detergents were incompatible with life.

The volunteers intend to contact law enforcement agencies to initiate a criminal case under Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (cruelty to animals).
