In Krasnoyarsk, investigators, as part of a criminal investigation, conducted raids to identify violations in the field of migration.
The investigative department of the RF Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia recalled that they are investigating a criminal case regarding the organization of the illegal stay of foreign citizens in Russia, committed by an organized group (clauses “a”, “d”, part 2 of article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Between January 2024 and January 2025, five residents of Krasnoyarsk established a channel for the legalization of foreigners under the guise of employment. Investigators conducted raids at two sports clubs in the Central and Zheleznodorozhny districts of the city. The events were also attended by the police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Russian National Guard and the FSB Directorate.
“During the activities, foreign citizens were identified, including minors, who were checked using information records to determine the legality of their stay on the territory of the Russian Federation. Forensic investigators from the State Investigative Directorate received samples of buccal epithelium for checking against the federal database of genomic information on unsolved crimes, including past years», — the press service said.
The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia pays close attention to the illegal actions of migrants in the territory of the region.
Raids are systematic in nature to ensure the safety of local residents and suppress any illegal actions of foreign citizens.
