In the Sharypovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a teenager stole a VAZ to go for a ride with friends. This was reported by the joint press service of the regional courts.
According to investigators, the guy took the keys from the sleeping owner of a domestic car and, together with his friends, went to drive around the area. Having had enough of a ride in the stolen car, the lawbreaker abandoned the VAZ on the street and disappeared with his friends.
A criminal case was opened against the minor under Part 1 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. For car theft, a young man faces up to 5 years in prison. The guy will be sentenced by the Sharypovsky District Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The case has already been accepted and scheduled for consideration.
Let us remind you that earlier in Krasnoyarsk a court fined a man 50 thousand rubles for staging the theft of his own car. A 24-year-old resident of the regional center resorted to deception in order to avoid a shopping trip with his wife.
