Portugal is struggling with the weather. The services intervened over a thousand times


According to estimates by Portugal's civil defense services, the rising water flooded or inundated several hundred roads and streets throughout the country, as well as several dozen residential buildings.
The flooding occurred, among others, In Braga, Porto, Lisbon, Vila do Conde, Viana do Casteloand also in Ovar and Faro. Some roads were also blocked by tree branches broken by the wind or fallen metal structures.

In the town of Santa Maria de Lamas, in the northwest of the country, Part of the stand at the local stadium collapsed. According to the facility's authorities, the accident occurred as a result of a landslide of water-soaked land. No one was hurt as a result of this incident.
