Experts have named two symptoms of cancer: they appear at night – they cannot be ignored

Health experts are urging people not to ignore two nighttime symptoms as they could be warning signs of the deadly illness. As experts note, the regular appearance of these strange problems at night can signal the development of cancer. The Mirror (18+) writes about this.

Experts from the world's largest independent organization, Cancer Research UK, which deals with cancer research, spoke about two non-obvious symptoms that may be non-obvious signs of a dangerous disease – excessive sweating and insomnia.

Severe night sweats

Experts note that slight sweating at night is normal. It can occur due to the high temperature in the room or due to the warmth of your partner.
However, if you notice excessive sweating during sleep or an unexplained fever, experts strongly advise consulting a doctor. This is important because these symptoms can be associated with some types of cancer, although they are often also a side effect of medication or infections.

Insomnia

Insomnia is when you have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep at night, or waking up very early. Britain's National Health Service says almost one in three of us have had these problems in our lives.

This can be due to a variety of reasons such as stress, anxiety, injury or illness. Cancer Research UK notes that insomnia can signal cancer. However, sleep problems may be a side effect of treatment or psychological state after diagnosis.

“If you often experience insomnia, it can greatly interfere with your daily life. Without quality sleep, you will feel very tired, irritable, have low energy levels and have poor concentration, which makes it difficult to carry out daily activities,” experts emphasize.

At the same time, Cancer Research UK experts note that symptoms of cancer can be:

  • chronic fatigue;
  • unexplained bleeding or bruising;
  • prolonged weakness;
  • rapid weight loss;
  • the appearance of lumps or bumps on the body.

If you experience any strange symptoms, experts advise contacting your family doctor immediately. They note that early diagnosis significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.
