In Russia, from March 1, 2025, they plan to introduce non-refundable rates in hotels
The non-refundable booking rate will be valid along with the refundable one, so that the tourist can choose which one to use.
At the same time, the cost of accommodation for a non-refundable booking will be significantly lower than for a refundable one. The Ministry of Economic Development believes that this should increase the availability of hotel accommodation.
