The Dâmboviţa Court ordered on Wednesday the preventive arrest of Marin Laurenciiu, one of the authors of the crime in Padina, after the prosecutors found that the man had “made” a denunciation to receive a smaller sentence, writes Agerpres.
In February 2024, the brothers Laurenciiu Marin, Louis-Justin Marin and George-Armando Marin, the sons of the self-titled Sidonia witch, were preventively arrested on the accusation that they killed a businessman during a party in Padina.
After three months of arrest, in May 2024, the Ploieşti Court of Appeal decided that the Marin brothers should be released and placed under house arrest.
After more than a year of investigation, the three brothers are sued for several crimes, the most serious being the murder.

Later, one of them, Marin Laurenciiu, said Solomon Fabian, set up a plan to reduce his punishment, being helped by a few close friends. Specifically, he simulated the sale of a gun and made a denunciation.
“It has been established that the authors, in various forms of participation, simulated the sale of a firearm, a lethal weapon in order that one of the suspects would formulate a false complaint to benefit from the reduction of the punishment for another previously committed crime, a murder offense of 2024”, declared a week ago.
The investigators found that it was a false denunciation and detained Marin Laurenciiu, after which they asked for his preventive arrest.

During the night of February 10 to 11, 2024, the brothers Laurenciiu Marin, Louis-Justin Marin and George-Armando Marin, from the “Fabian” clan, stabbed a man, during a party in the Padina mountain resort.
According to the police, the incident broke out due to a spontaneous conflict. At the party that took place at Hotel Belmont in Padina, singers Alex Velea, Antonia and Alina Eremia were present. The incident took place after the concert, in a building annexed to the hotel. The three aggressors fled the car after they stabbed the 41-year-old man, but were arrested shortly by police.
