Investigators' findings regarding the activities of Zbigniew Ziobro. The president of PiS comments
According to investigators, there is reasonable suspicion that Ziobro allegedly committed 26 crimes, including founding and leading an organized criminal group operating in the Ministry of Justice.. This group was to appropriate over PLN 150 million from the state fund.
Jarosław Kaczyński, referring to these reports during a press conference, called the prosecutor's decision “scandalous”. — And, as you might think, it has a completely political justification – said the president of PiS. In his opinion, the actions of the current government are an attempt to divert public opinion from the problems of governance.

— The current government is completely unable to cope with governing in virtually all areas of life and is therefore undertaking another operation aimed at shifting public attention towards the issue of alleged crimes of Law and Justice. – said Kaczyński.
The opposition leader also commented on allegations regarding the spending of funds from the Justice Fund. He argued that the fund had the right to transfer funds to various institutions and also finance the activities of the services, including the purchase of the Pegasus system. — He also had the right to transfer money from his account to the account from which the services paid for the purchase of Pegasus. Pegasus was absolutely necessary to fight various types of crime, Kaczyński emphasized. He added that In his opinion, the current actions of the prosecutor's office may be motivated by “revenge” for the use of this system during the PiS government.
The party president also said that possible charges against Ziobro – if they were true – would mean a long-term sentence, but in his opinion they have no basis. — Everything that is now being accused of Minister Ziobro would have to lead to a very heavy, long-term sentence. It's just that from a legal point of view, this is just nonsense and nonsense – he declared.
The prosecutor's office announces that after the possible lifting of immunity, it will strive to bring charges against the former minister and apply preventive measures. The motion in this matter will now be submitted to the Speaker of the Sejm and will be referred to the Sejm Committee on Rules, Deputies' Affairs and Immunities. The decision on whether to waive immunity will be made by the Sejm in a vote.
