Material losses incurred by American bases in the first two weeks of the conflict with Iran amounted to approximately $800 million. The damage affected bases located in several countries in the region where American soldiers are stationed.

The US is counting losses after Iran's retaliation
The Iranian strikes were in response to an earlier U.S.-Israeli operation launched on February 28 against targets in Iran. Retaliatory attacks were aimed at air defense and satellite communication systems located, among others, in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Radar installations in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia were also destroyed.
The largest single losses concern the AN/TPY-2 radar system, located at an air base in Jordan. The value of this equipment is estimated at approximately USD 485 million. – says the Center for Strategic and International Studies in its report. The remaining damage includes buildings, facilities and infrastructure with a total value of USD 310 million.

Experts suggest that the losses are underestimated
Mark Cancian, co-author of the CSIS report, drew attention to the underestimation of the scale of destruction. “The damage suffered by US bases in the region is underestimated,” he said. He added that the amount was USD 800 million. does not cover all losses.
