The military focuses on AI and cybersecurity. The Ministry of National Defense is strengthening cooperation with Palantir Technologies

Deputy Prime Minister, head of the Ministry of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and General Director of Palantir Technologies INC Alexander Karp signed a letter of intent on cooperation in the areas of artificial intelligence, information technologies and cybersecurity in Warsaw on Monday.

Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that currently the most important challenge for all armies in the world is building information resources. He pointed out that databases are currently the largest currency.

“Today's letter of intent with Palantir – an absolute leader in data management and their use in logistics security of the battlefield and designing the future using artificial intelligence – is a milestone. This company's solutions are perfectly used, among others, by the Ukrainian army,” said the head of the Ministry of National Defense.

Palantir Technologies is an American technology company specializing in large-scale data analysis. It offers advanced software enabling the integration, processing, analysis and visualization of huge data sets – in particular for the needs of the public, defense, intelligence sectors and large industrial companies.
