FlixBus enters into cooperation with a key railway platform

FlixBus connections are available directly on the KOLEO platform. As both sides say, “this makes it easier to organize travel and opens up new opportunities thanks to the integration of various means of transport.” Passengers can also benefit from a 15% discount. discounts on FlixBus tickets purchased via the KOLEO platform, valid until March 2026.
“FlixBus and KOLEO complement each other perfectly. We operate long-distance bus transport, KOLEO focuses on rail connections. Thanks to this integration, travelers from various regions, including those with less connections, gain more opportunities and greater flexibility in planning their journeys. This is the largest combination of bus and rail offers in Poland so far. In one application, the offer of national rail carriers from over 3 is now available thousands of stops and over 500 FlixBus stops in Poland and Europe. This is a total of over 3.5 thousand points available in one place,” says Michał Leman, managing director of FlixBus in Eastern Europe.
– This is great proof that instead of competing with each other, railways and buses can perfectly complement each other, says Kuba Czajkowski, president of KOLEO.
Flix has been present on the railway market for some time. Trains under the FlixTrain brand were launched in 2018 and currently operate mainly on the German market. However, the company does not rule out further development. Meanwhile, in Poland, PKP is increasingly losing its monopoly on rails.
