The British power network operator informed that he was investigating unexplained interruptions in the supply of electricity, which affected the British system several hours before, when on Monday the electricity was deprived of Spain and Portugal – the daily “The Telegraph” said on Tuesday.

The operator of the British energy system (NESO) observed on Sunday early morning and in the evening unusual changes in the power frequency.
Maintaining the frequency and power of the power system within certain limits is crucial for maintaining current flow – emphasized the daily.
The first disturbing event occurred in the morning, when an unexplained failure of the inter -system connection between Great Britain and Denmark was found. In the evening, the frequency changed unexpected again.
The reasons for these events remain unknown for now. Nevertheless, a spokesman for the British operator assessed that the probability that the failures in Great Britain, Spain and Portugal are related to each other, is very small. (PAP)
