Seven men in an SUV tried to break through the border, but ended up in a ditch instead of Moldova – State Border Guard Service

It is reported that near the border in the Razdelnyansky district, servicemen of the State Border Guard Service discovered a car heading towards the border with Moldova.

“Seeing the border guards, the driver of the car accelerated and, losing control, overturned into a ditch,” the report says. “It turned out that in addition to the driver, there were six people in the cabin who, as a result of the accident, received injuries of varying degrees of severity.”

Border guards provided primary medical care to the victims and called an ambulance and the police.

Previously, the State Border Guard Service established that those wishing to get to Moldova turned to the administrator of one of the Telegram channels for help.

“Without any guarantees of successful transportation, the men paid in advance a deposit of more than $25 thousand to the businessman’s crypto-wallet. For the specified amount, the organizer provided them with a car, which was located at a certain gathering place for the violators. The businessmen installed Ukrainian license plates from another car on an SUV with Romanian registration,” the report says.

For attempting to illegally cross the state border, administrative protocols were drawn up against violators. The cases have been sent to court, the Southern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service summarized.
