After the meeting, Volodymyr Zelensky met with journalists. One of the issues they were most interested in was the possibility of Ukraine receiving Tomahawk missiles. Zelensky confirmed that they had discussed this topic, but emphasized that “he is a realist on this topic.” — I think the Russians are afraid. Tomahawks are truly powerful weapons. They know what weapons we have and are afraid of a connection with the Tomahawks. They are making many moves that indicate this, Zelensky added.

The American president wants to show that he has good will when it comes to the conflict in Ukraine. Unfortunately, for many months we have been observing that Trump's actions actually bring more benefits to the Russian Federation than to Ukraine, the expert noted.

Today at The final of the 19th Chopin Competition begins at 6 p.m. The performers will be Chinese Tianyou Li, American Eric Lu, Chinese Tianyao Lyu and Malaysian Vincent Ong. They will perform Polonaise-Fantasia in A flat major, Op. 61 and the Piano Concerto accompanied by the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra (the Piano Concerto in F minor, Op. 21 was chosen by Eric Lu, the other pianists will play the Piano Concerto in E minor, Op. 11). The winner of the piano competition will be announced on the night of October 20-21.
Tonight, during a gala at the Warsaw Museum of Modern Art, the winners of the competition sections of the 41st Warsaw Film Festival will be announced. 15 paintings from all over the world compete for the Grand Prix in the International Competition. 15 productions are taking part in the 1-2 Competition for debuts and second films. The same number of works compete in the Documentary Film Competition. In the Short Film Competition, 28 titles received a chance to be distinguished. During the ceremony, we will also find out which of the 24 films qualified for the Confrontations section will receive the audience award.
