A Ukrainian young man who wandered in the Maramureş Mountains is sought, on Saturday night, by rescuers and border guards, under difficult weather conditions, with low temperatures and mixed precipitation. The young man said he is in mountains for several days, without provisions and in light hypothermia, writes News.ro.
Salvamont Maramureş announced on Saturday night that he is carrying out a difficult mission to save a 25 -year -old Ukrainian, lost in the mountain area. The mission also participates in the Border Police Poienile de Sub Munte, from ITPF Sighetu Marmaiei.
“Following the call coming by 112 colleagues from STS, they managed to locate it and made us contact with the Ukrainian, saying that it is in mountains for several days, without supplies and suffers from light hypothermia. The weather conditions are unfriendly, with low temperatures and mixed precipitation. He descends from the mountain ”, the source said.
