US President Donald Trump called the newly minted Nobel Peace Prize winner and congratulated her on her victory, said Marek Wałkuski, correspondent of Polish Radio in the United States. Earlier, the White House harshly criticized the Nobel Committee's decision not to award the prize to Donald Trump. The winner of this year's edition, Venezuelan oppositionist Maria Corina Machado, dedicated her triumph to, among others, precisely to the American leader.
