Tragedy in Giurgiu county. A young man was crushed to death by his own ATV that overturned in the field

A 28-year-old man was found dead under an ATV, on Sunday, on an agricultural road in the outskirts of Floreşti-Stoeneşti, ISU Giurgiu announced.

The first data from the scene show that the 28-year-old man was driving on an agricultural road. It appears the man may have skidded at some point and the ATV fell on top of him.

“ISU Giurgiu was requested to intervene, this afternoon, in the Floreşti-Stoeneşti commune, after several people notified the authorities that they had noticed, on the outskirts of the village, on an agricultural road, a young man who was under an ATV. Firefighters from the Bolintin Deal Detachment went to the scene, with a special fire truck equipped with extrication mode, an ambulance from the County Ambulance Service and the police”informs ISU Giurgiu.

Firefighters found that a 28-year-old man was under an ATV.

“The rescuers extracted the victim from under the ATV, but, unfortunately, this could no longer be saved, medical staff declaring death”states ISU Giurgiu.
