The governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory announced the completion of a large-scale reconstruction of the Krasnoyarsk-Elita highway, which began in 2021 and was carried out in four stages.
“This was a big project that was implemented with the support of the federation. For the convenience of residents, work here was carried out in stages. The road was widened from two to four lanes, and provision was made for transitional express lanes, U-turns, sidewalks, fencing and lighting. A drainage system was installed to keep the route dry all year round. In total, almost 3 billion rubles were allocated from the regional and federal budgets for its renovation,” Mikhail Kotyukov said on his social networks.
The governor also recalled that Now the home stretch is a major overhaul of the Krasnoyarsk bypass section from km 1 to 5 – from Drokinskaya Mountain to the overpass across Kotelnikov Avenue. Let us remind you that in early September traffic was opened there for cars on all four lanes.
In addition, the renovation of the bridge across the Bolshoi Kantat River is nearing completion, as well as repairs on the routes: Kansk – Aban – Boguchany, Emelyanovo – Nikolskoye – Taloe, Krasnoyarsk – Yeniseisk.
“In total, under the national project “Infrastructure for Life,” work is underway this year on 86 objects of the regional road network,” the governor noted.
