The Ministry of Finance is investing ten million euros from the PNRR to put into operation the equipment he bought 10 years ago and left them unused

Half of the money now spent by the Ministry of Finance also reaches the two companies that have not completed the works in 2015, shows an investigation by Public Record.
In 2015, ANAF signed a contract of 9.5 million lei for the modernization of a data center, but the works were not completed because the building permit was lacking.
Equipment worth 3.7 million lei remained unused in the basement, ground floor and yard of the National Center for Financial Information.
In 2022, the Court of Accounts made a control and, as a recommendation, asked the Ministry of Finance to connect and put into operation the equipment.
In 2025, following a new control, the Court of Accounts discovered that the ministry launched a new auction at the end of 2024 to put into operation the equipment bought in 2015. It is done with PNR money for an amount of over 10 million euros.
In March 2025, a lot was also won by Synotech Global Services, with subcontractor Tehnoinstal. These are exactly the two companies that have failed to carry the initial project at the end.
The other lot was won by the theme of Energy SA, for almost five and a half million euros
Synotech Global Services SRL is known in the public space after being sued by DNA in the Microsoft file, along with its former administrator Claudiu Florică.
