The last, sixth field in which the Nobel Prize is awarded is economic sciences. In this discipline, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences will be announced on Monday, October 13. The economic Nobel Prize was not mentioned in the founder's will, which is why the distinction awarded since 1969 is formally called the Sweden Bank award.
