According to the DPA agency, referring to the airport spokesman, the Munich Airport has again suspended its activities as part of precautions due to possible new drone observations.

On Thursday evening, 17 flights were canceled in Munich after reports of the appearance of unidentified drones in this city. Nearly 3,000 passengers were forced to interrupt the journey. Many of them spent the night at the airport.

According to DPA, citing police sources, the presence of drones in the Munich Airport Zone were alerted by the inhabitants of the surrounding housing estates.

The airport was hard on Friday morning.

In Munich, there is a ban on regular passenger flights from midnight to 5 am. At this time, only night mail flights and special flights are allowed. (PAP)
