The company “Craculos” calculated the number of passengers transported by electric trains in 20 years and named the top directions
Today, October 3, the company “Kraskrigorod”, carrying out suburban passenger transportation on the Krasnoyarsk Railway, celebrates its 20th anniversary: during this time, the train was transported along the routes of the highway of 152.7 million passengers.
The company's route network covers the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and partially the Kemerovo region. The maximum number of suburban trains running in the winter reaches 97, 104 in the summer.
Transportation is carried out by 31 composition. More than 50 % are comfortable trains of new EP3D and ED9E series that meet modern passenger service standards.
Today, a suburban complex is one of the most important and socially significant sectors of railway transport. More than 6 million passengers use suburban trains annually on the Krasnoyarsk Railway. In a number of areas of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia, where there are no roads to many settlements, they are the only one available to the population by a mode of transport.
The “distant” routes are most in demand – the Expresses of Krasnoyarsk – Ilan, Krasnoyarsk – Achinsk – Krasnaya Sopka and Krasnoyarsk – Bogotol.
“The electric train has always been and remain socially significant. And we do everything to fully satisfy the demand of the population. We have built constructive relations with the leadership of all three regions in which the company carries out its activities – the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia and the Kemerovo region. Regions are closely suitable for resolving issues of the suburban complex. Today, we not only did not reduce the route network, but we develop transportation, taking into account the current needs of the population, ”says Larisa Baikalova, General Director of Kraspigorod JSC.
The most striking example of cooperation between the Krasnoyarsk highway and the company “Craskrogorod” with the regional authorities is the project “City train of Krasnoyarsk”. Today, urban electric trains are completely integrated into the metropolis public transport system. The route network covers 6 of the 7 districts of Krasnoyarsk and Divnogorsk site: this is 31 stopping point, including 10 – in the direction from the Yenisei station to Divnogorsk.
From the moment of the start of the Krasnov project “City Trainer Krasnoyarsk”, more than 17 million passengers have been transported. The annual passenger flow increased by more than 2.5 times and starting from 2022 steadily exceeds 2 million passengers per year. Every day, more than 6 thousand inhabitants of Krasnoyarsk and the satellite of Divnogorsk choose this type of transport as a modern, convenient, accurate, all-weather and independent of the road.
Kraskrigorod JSC was created in 2005. On a parity basis with the administration of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. 51 % of the shares belongs to the company of Russian Railways, 49 % – the administration of the Krasnoyarsk Territory represented by the Center for Transport Logistics. Today, the company's team has more than 340 people, of which almost 200 are traveling ticket cashiers.
It should be noted that the company “Kraspigorod” also makes a significant contribution to the development of domestic regional tourism. In this niche, the Divnogorsky direction of the “city train” is the most successful and in demand. Currently, electric trains on the site Krasnoyarsk – Divnogorsk – Krasnoyarsk operate up to 16 flights per day. In summer, additional flights are included in the schedule.
The tourist significance of the route confirms the growth of passenger traffic by almost 1.5 times over the past 3 years. The most popular are Divnogorsk and oatmeal landing platform, built by Krasn in 2024-to the 100th anniversary of the writer V.P. Astafyev.
Since 2021, as part of the electric train of Krasnoyarsk – Yenisei – Divnogorsk, the excursion car “Towards history” has been running. This is a joint project of the Krasnoyarsk Railway, JSC “Kraspigorod”, agencies for tourism of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the administration of the city of Divnogorsk.
Since March of the current year, on Saturdays, a comfortable tourist train-express, the following from Krasnoyarsk to Divnogorsk and back with one stop, in the village of Ovsyanka has been running in the direction.
