Radosław Sikorski about the dispute regarding ambassadors
The minister reminded that according to the Act, he is responsible before the Sejm for the appointment of ambassadors, and the president signs applications at his request. – The procedure is as follows: the ambassador is appointed by the president at the request of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. If the legislator wanted the president to decide himself, he would decide that voting a diplomatic convention must be unanimous. However, the Sejm did not foresee such a solution He explained.
